How it works
Metformin lowers insulin resistance, which helps bring down the high insulin levels that drive many of the hormonal changes seen in PCOS.
Myo-inositol acts as a second messenger for insulin and FSH, supporting insulin sensitivity and normal egg development.
Dosage and how to take it
Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush, break or chew it, because the tablet is designed to release the medicine slowly. Taking it with or just after the evening meal reduces stomach upset.
The dose and length of treatment depend on the condition, the patient and the response, and are decided by the treating doctor. Do not change the dose or stop the medicine without medical advice.
