How it works
Ethinyl estradiol is the oestrogen in the pill; it stabilises the cycle and, with the progestogen, stops ovulation.
Dienogest is a progestogen that settles endometrial tissue and lowers oestrogen-driven growth, which reduces endometriosis lesions and pain.
Dosage and how to take it
One tablet is taken daily at about the same time for 21 days, followed by a 7-day tablet-free break, starting on the day the doctor or pack insert advises. Follow the pack insert for missed tablets.
The dose and length of treatment depend on the condition, the patient and the response, and are decided by the treating doctor. Do not change the dose or stop the medicine without medical advice.
Side effects of DINOWISE-EE
Not everyone gets side effects. Those reported most often with its ingredients include:
