How it works
Each ingredient has its own job in ALNAMET-OVA:
- Myo-inositol acts as a second messenger for insulin and FSH, supporting insulin sensitivity and normal egg development.
- D-chiro-inositol works alongside myo-inositol in insulin signalling; the two are often combined in a fixed ratio for PCOS.
- Metformin lowers insulin resistance, which helps bring down the high insulin levels that drive many of the hormonal changes seen in PCOS.
- L-methylfolate is the active form of folate, so it does not need conversion in the body and supports cell division and healthy neural tube development.
- Methylcobalamin is the active form of vitamin B12, needed for healthy nerves, red blood cells and folate metabolism.
Dosage and how to take it
Swallow with water, preferably at the same time each day. Take after food with a full glass of water.
